Surprise!

In case you still read, it has been a (little more than a) year since the HK trip. I happened to stumble upon our blog and reading everything here brings back lots of memories. I attempted to send in our group photo to the competition organised by studyabroadfass but it looks like the competition no longer exists. Voting is supposed to begin yesterday but I think they scraped it.

But we don't wanna waste our efforts do we.

And they needed a 140-word caption:

Reflections
When away from home, we start to reflect on things we used to take for granted. Never did we need to stay up till past midnight to do laundry, or wake up an hour earlier to snatch bathing cubicles. We had to trust strangers. We had to be extra cautious. We missed our families and friends.
Once back home, we start to reflect on the experience. Some of us had an adventure of the lifetime when we challenged our limits and bungy-jumped from the Macau Tower. Some of us ran into serious health issues and the rest showed care and concern. Some of us lay down and chatted under the stars till the wee hours of the night.
The experience we had gone through together and the friendships formed would be something we all hold dearly to our hearts.

Woohoo. No prizes for guessing who went into serious health issues. Can't believe we bought him slippers. Bleagh.

I miss HK days.
